Team Gunther Volkswagen Thanksgiving Food Drive 2017

One of the priorities for Team Gunther Volkswagen in Daphne AL is to be a positive presence in the community. Whether that means donating food, money, or serves, we are ready to give back to the organizations and individuals who help make our part of Alabama great. Last fall with the Team Gunther Volkswagen Thanksgiving Food Drive 2017 we collected 100 pounds of non-perishable food for the local Prosidee Pantry organization. Not only did our canned and packaged food donations go to a good cause, but we had fun doing something good for the community.

Our food collection container was Trotter the Turkey (pictured below). In addition to Trotter looking very cute in our dealership, it was heartwarming to watch as customers, employees, and community members brought in food to “feed” Trotter. We are so glad we could fill him up! The food drive began in early November, and Team Gunther VW even offered some service discounts for customers who brought in food while having regular maintenance handled. It was a great to be able to collect so much for Prosidee Pantry, and help them support those most in need in our county with food and resources. We are looking forward to other great drives in the future for this organization and others!
