What’s new for the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon?

When the Volkswagen Arteon debuted a few years ago, the sleek and powerful fastback sedan represented a new design philosophy for the automaker. So, what’s new for the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon? Basically, everything. While the 2021 Arteon wasn’t completely redesignedthe front-end elements have been refined more which is not only interesting to see but it’s also more aerodynamic than the previous version of the Arteon. Volkswagen has streamlined the fastback sedan’s trim ladder to offer just three versions, SE, SEL R-Line and SEL Premium R-Line. Each of those trims will deliver a slightly different ownership experience to Team Gunther Volkswagen customers. Let’s take a look at what else potential buyers can expect to see when the 2021 Arteon arrives.

New Exterior Features

Sharp-eyed visitors to the Team Gunther VW showroom are likely to notice the new grille that will be worn by much of the 2021 Arteon lineup. A minimalist three-bar chrome grille has replaced the traditional four-bar grille. The trio of trims will be differentiated by small details. SE models will have two additional air intakes and the R-Line models will have a larger front intake that is surrounded by body-color-matching elements.

Volkswagen is also introducing three new exterior colors for the new model year, Oryx White, Kings Red Metallic and Lapiz Blue.

Interior Upgrades for the 2021 Arteon

The ultimate goal for the redesign for the 2021 Volkswagen Arteon is to give drivers a high-performance experience. Engineers and designers retooled the vehicle’s cockpit that will match the exclusive nature of the 2021 Arteon. Just about every surface and upholstery material has been upgraded. However, the most obvious change to the interior will be the Volkswagen Digital Cockpit that will be standard equipment in a large swath of 2021 Arteon trim grades coming to the Team Gunther VW showroom.
