Is there a vehicle sanitization service near Daphne, AL?

Everyone at Team Gunther Volkswagen is working very hard to keep our showroom and service department open to serve our customers. However, the coronavirus has changed the way we go about our daily lives. One of the things we’ve been doing more often is wiping down just about every surface that we come near. However, a vehicle’s interior requires some different care. If you have been wondering, ‘Is there a vehicle sanitation service near Daphne, AL,’ we can answer, yes. The Team Gunther VW Service Department will be offering this service to anyone who needs it. This is certainly not something that we normally offer to our customers, so we thought it would be helpful to explain how this will work. Let’s take a look at this new way our team is taking care of you.

Vehicle Disinfection at Team Gunther VW

The inside of your vehicle is covered with a lot of different materials. Using the wrong products could cause discoloration or other damage. Team Gunther VW has invested in the training and materials to make sure our team cannot only give customers additional peace of mind by sanitizing the vehicle’s interior, but we can do this without damaging anything.

Customers can choose to have this done after our team completes other tasks like oil changes, brake replacement or tire rotations. Even if someone doesn’t want to go through the entire sanitization process, our technicians will at least wipe down high-touch areas of the interior while gloves.

Can I do this at home?

Like we said, you might need some special products to clean the inside of your vehicle. However, if you’re in a rush and you want to do something quickly, we have some advice. A simple solution of 70 percent isopropyl alcohol and water that is sprayed on to a microfiber cloth will do a great job. The alcohol will kill just about any germs on most hard surfaces. This solution can also be used on a vehicle’s touchscreen.
