2021 Jetta Trims with MIB3 Infotainment System

Team Gunther VW customers will be able to choose among five trim grades when they are shopping for a 2021 VW Jetta, S, SE, R-Line, SEL and SEL Premium. The major upgrade for the 2021 Jetta is the implementation of the MIB3 infotainment system, which is standard equipment on SEL and SEL Premium models. A large 8-inch touchscreen interface will be easy for people to know which MIB version is equipped.

The MIB3 system offers several wireless connectivity options and it can support multiple compatible smartphones at once. In fact, the MIB3 infotainment system will allow people other than the driver and front passenger to have control over many multimedia features by pairing their phone to the head unit.

Dealership customers choosing the S, SE or R-Line models will use the MIB2 version of the automaker’s infotainment system. It offers access to the Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™, like the MIB3 version. However, unlike the new infotainment architecture, the MIB2 system doesn’t offer multiphone or wireless connectivity. Also, vehicles equipped with MIB2 will control it via a 6.5-inch touchscreen display.
